My Embroidery
Welcome to my embroidery section! This is where I add my collection of items I have embroidered. These are all hand sewn and they were created from photographs of the animals. I absolutely love Emillie Ferris! She is one reason I absolutely fell in love with embroidery. Once I came across her, I also found Michelle Staub. They are both extremely wonderful embroiders and teachers when it comes to learning the trade. Enjoy the ever growing collection!

The second of my great apes series. This is Clyde, he is based off real orangutang photos, and named off the movie "Every Which Way but Loose." I used a beautiful jungle green fabric to really bring out his reddish orange hues. I added some little mushrooms in the back to give him an ornery character!
