My Embroidery
Welcome to my embroidery section! This is where I add my collection of items I have embroidered. These are all hand sewn and they were created from photographs of the animals. I absolutely love Emillie Ferris! She is one reason I absolutely fell in love with embroidery. Once I came across her, I also found Michelle Staub. They are both extremely wonderful embroiders and teachers when it comes to learning the trade. Enjoy the ever growing collection!

This is the first of my great apes series I made. It is based off a real chimpanzee, with a twist. My son growing up had a stuffed chimp that he drug everywhere. His name was King Kong. I decided to add a twist to all my great apes, so this one got bibs, which the monkey loves to wear! He is on a pale pink fabric and he took 48 hours to sew!
