My Embroidery
Welcome to my embroidery section! This is where I add my collection of items I have embroidered. These are all hand sewn and they were created from photographs of the animals. I absolutely love Emillie Ferris! She is one reason I absolutely fell in love with embroidery. Once I came across her, I also found Michelle Staub. They are both extremely wonderful embroiders and teachers when it comes to learning the trade. Enjoy the ever growing collection!

This is Willie Nelson! I decided that if I could sew an apes skin then I could surely do a human! I decided to take on Willie for that! I met him when I was just a kid, and I really wanted to use his braids in my piece. I placed him on a light ash gray fabric to make his bandana pop! He took me 48 hours to finish! I added a beautiful marijuana leave to really give Willie is iconic character!
